How to Replace the ECU on the Smart 453?

To replace the engine management ECU on the Smart 453, open the boot and remove the cover on the right side, near the passenger seat. Once the cover is removed, you can access the ECU; it can be pulled from its housing after loosening the fixing bolts and disconnecting the connectors. When the old ECU is removed, replace it with a new spare part, which must be properly secured and connected.
