Replacing the External Handle of a Smart Fortwo

Let’s see how to remove the external handle of a Smart Fortwo. Open the right or left door of the car and observe the removal of the external handle. Unscrew the retaining screws of the external handle from the inside of the door using a screwdriver. Remove the handle from inside the door with your hands. Take the new part and compare it with the one previously removed. Fit the handle inside the door of the car with all the retaining screws (always on the inside of the door). Test the correct operation of the handle once secured in the door.
