How to Remove the Rear Bumper on a Smart Roadster

Want to remove the bumper from your Smart? Here’s how to take off the bumper from the Smart Roadster. Open the rear engine compartment and lift the cover bonnet, then locate all the securing screws around the bumper plastics. Unscrew all the securing screws of the bumper and then remove the entire piece from the back of the car. Disconnect any electrical connectors for the rear lights if present. Fit the new bumper onto the car and screw in the securing screws on it. Reconnect any previously removed electrical connectors.
