How to Remove and Refit the Exhaust on a Smart Roadster

To remove the exhaust on your Smart Roadster: first, you need to remove the rear windows, which are held by 4 screws on each side. Remove the grilles, light units, and rear bumper. At this point, you can access the exhaust, and to remove it from its support, there are only 4 screws and one rear connector. Clean the housing well and place the new part you have purchased according to your needs (more or less sporty, but always with an approved silencer). Now you can perform the reverse operations. Reconnect the plug, replace the screws, test the sound of the new exhaust, after which you can refit the rear bumper, light units, grilles, and rear windows. The job is complete.
