The rear window of the Volkswagen New Beetle Softtop may detach from its frame due to the failure of the original adhesive. To repair it, obtain a specific adhesive for glass (such as the Wurt Expert available on Amazon with the code B0D5FQ5LTH at a price of £29.37 for a 310 ml tube, with free delivery).

The process involves two phases: first, thoroughly clean the fabric frame and the glass surface. Apply the adhesive to the frame and position the glass, using clips or small clamps to hold it in place during drying.

Follow the curing times indicated by the manufacturer. Once the first phase is dry, apply a second layer of adhesive to permanently secure the glass to the structure.

For extra sealing, you can reinforce the edges with duct tape until fully cured.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?
