In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the rear brake shoe cylinder of the Smart Fortwo. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the rear wheel; then remove the drum by unscrewing the central nut, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, remove the brake shoes by disconnecting the spring and removing the pins; then detach the cylinder from the shoes, replacing it with the new one. Now replace the brake shoes and refit the new cylinder, cleaning the drum of any dirt!
