How to open the Smart ForTwo remote control?

In this tutorial we can see how to open the Smart ForTwo 451 remote control, an operation to be carried out in case we need to replace the battery or the outer shell. To do this we will only need a small flat-tipped screwdriver and any spare. To open the remote control simply insert the tip of the screwdriver into the slot in the upper part of the ring, pry and separate the two halves. Once this is done, we continue by removing the element to be replaced. In the event of a battery replacement, we will need a 3V CR2016 type replacement.
