How to replace the shock absorbers of the Smart 451

First we go to prepare all the material needed for carrying out the work. We have to jack up the car and put something up to work on it. Remove the wheel with the suitable wrench. Now remove the plastic liner that is inside the fender. To do this it is necessary to unscrew a series of bolts with a suitable wrench. With the hydraulic jack, slightly raise the wheel so that the shock absorber is not under tension. Unscrew the bolt that locks the shock absorber at the top. Remove the cover of the bolt that blocks the lower part and unscrew the same with the appropriate wrench. At this point we can extract the old shock absorber from its position and replace it with the new one.
