How to Remove the Dashboard of My Smart 450 to Replace the Speedometer?

Removing the speedometer from your Smart 450 (to replace the bulbs or the speedometer itself) is a fairly simple task. First, unscrew the screws located at the bottom of the holes on the underside of the steering column, allowing you to detach the upper part of the steering column. Simply lift it from both outer sides, and you can replace just the bulbs as shown in the video; you just need to unscrew the affected bulbs, which are held in place by small orange caps, so remove them and you will also have the bulb of the lamp to replace. If you need to replace the entire unit or the speedometer, disconnect the green connector and remove everything!
