How to Remove the Dashboard of the Smart Fortwo 450?

To remove the dashboard of the Smart Fortwo 450, follow this guide that shows what to disassemble and in what order. Start by removing the steering wheel, the lower plastic trim, the instrument cluster, and the indicator stalk, taking care not to damage the connections when disconnecting the various connectors. Next, remove the snap-in air vents, the various control buttons, the glove compartment from the centre console, and consequently the plastic mask of the same. At this point, you should be able to lift the dashboard first from the centre, just above the console, and then entirely.
