How to replace the rear window pistons in the Smart 451

Contrary to what one might think, the removal and installation of the rear window pistons of the Smart 451 are not complex operations. In fact, you can perform them quickly and without great difficulty even in complete autonomy and without contacting a professional mechanic. First turn off the car and go to the back. Raise the bonnet completely and loosen the two upper springs with the help of a common flat screwdriver. Once this is done, disassemble the two pistons and replace them with the new models. Tighten the two springs correctly and close the bonnet to check correct operation.
