How to Remove the Engine from the Smart 450?

To remove the engine from the Smart 450, open the rear hatch of the car to access the screws that secure the rear bumper. The bumper must be removed, along with the screws that secure the upper cover of the boot, to take off this panel. This will allow you to loosen the screws of the supports that secure the engine at the top. You can then also loosen the supports that secure the engine at the bottom, completely removing the engine from its housing and replacing it with a new one.
