How to Drive a Smart with Automatic Gearbox

In this video, learn how to drive a Smart with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox: if the old robotic gearbox was the weak point of the previous Smart, that is no longer the case. This one is smooth and quick. The electronic management is good, prioritising comfort in stop-and-go traffic, and it is very progressive and gentle in parking, with no jolts during maneuvers that were typical of the old robotic gearbox. It is very enjoyable to drive and preferable to the manual gearbox, although it is very responsive. The test vehicle has a 900 turbo engine with 90 hp, providing a nice push without response delays. Fuel consumption is not significant for the short test; the interiors are comfortable and spacious.
