How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a Smart 451

Let's see how to change the cabin air filter in a Smart 451: The cabin filter is located on the driver's side, in the footwell, behind the accelerator pedal, where you'll find a small vertical compartment with a push-fit cover. In this compartment, you'll find the filter. Simply remove it, and with a blast of compressed air or a clean cloth, clean the compartment to remove dirt and debris before placing the new filter in a clean compartment. Remember that the filter has a specific fitting direction: always with the arrows pointing towards the bottom of the compartment. Close it properly, and the job is done.
