Replacing the Cabin Filter on Smart Fortwo 451

Replacing the cabin air filter, or pollen filter, on a Smart Fortwo 451 is really straightforward, but the main question is: where is this filter located? To find the cabin air filter, bend down in the footwell and look towards the centre tunnel. You will notice a vertical compartment with a cover. Release the clips holding the cover in place and remove it. You are almost done! Now, simply pull out the old filter by hand and insert the new one you purchased, which should be equivalent to the original. Refit the cover and you're done.
