Today, you will tackle an easy and quick maintenance task: replacing the cabin air filter, or pollen filter. The hardest part is knowing where it is located: to access it, you will need to work in the pedal area, next to the steering column, towards the centre of the dashboard (see video).

In other words, behind the air conditioning vents. Accessing the filter is very simple: just open the cover of the compartment and pull out the filter, perhaps using a flat screwdriver for assistance.

Insert the new filter in the same orientation as the original and close the compartment with the appropriate flap.

How to Remove the Front Bumper of the Renault Trafic?

To remove the front bumper of the Renault Trafic, use a tool to pry off the grille at the top: once this grille is removed, you can loosen the screws at the bottom to detach the front headlights. These must now be extracted by disconnecting the underlying connectors: this will allow you to loosen the additional screws that secure the front bumper and remove it completely. At this point, you can insert the new replacement part and check that everything functions correctly.
