Replace the Air Conditioning Filter on Smart Fortwo

Want to remove the cabin air filter on a Smart Fortwo? Here's how to take it out from inside the passenger compartment. Disconnect the trim located at the bottom of the floor (driver's side). Remove the cap found on the right side of the central tunnel from the filter housing (push the plastic clip), then extract the cabin filter to be replaced. Insert a new pollen filter, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the housing. Refit the cap of the filter housing (cover everything with the floor cover cloth). Secure the floor trim after replacing the air filter.
