How to replace the engine air filter of the Smart Fortwo

To correctly and safely change the engine air filter of your Smart Fortwo, simply follow these steps. First, turn off the car and then go outside and lift the rear hood completely. Once you have done that, remove the engine protection cover and locate the air filter box on the left side of the engine compartment. Next, remove the cover of the box with the help of a flathead screwdriver and, finally, replace the old filter with a new one. Reassemble what you have previously removed and you are done.
