How to Change the Air Filter

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

The tools required for this operation are a 7 millimetre socket spanner, a screwdriver, and - of course - a new air filter. Access the engine by lifting the protective mat in the boot, then remove the air filter box, applying some force if necessary, and take out the old filter. For safety, ensure that the dimensions of the old filter and the new one are the same, then position the new filter and refit the air filter box. A clean air filter is essential for proper fuel mixture and to keep your lovely Smart running efficiently.
