How to Replace the Hood on a Smart

In this video, see how to independently replace the hood on a Smart. First, press the closure button for the roof near the automatic gearbox. Using a screwdriver and a small hammer, remove the side plastics, unscrew the screws and nuts on the edges. Next, use pliers to detach the sliding bars and the retaining hooks located at the top of the hood frame, allowing the roof to come out of its housing. At this point, proceed with the replacement of the hood and secure it, ensuring all removed parts are properly fixed.
