How do you replace the timing belt of the Smart ForTwo?

To replace the timing belt of the Smart ForTwo, you need to access the bottom of the engine compartment, which in this case is located at the back of the car. Once the crankshaft pulley has been located, it will be necessary to loosen its central nut, so that it can be removed by reducing the tension of the belt. The latter can now be removed from its housing so that the new replacement part can be inserted; the new belt can now be tensioned by inserting the crankshaft pulley, ensuring that everything is working correctly.
