We can see thanks to this short video guide all the necessary steps to reset the service light on a Smart Fortwo 450, a model produced from 1998 to 2007. First, we turn on the instrument panel by turning the key to the first position, then we bring up the partial mileage screen by pressing the button on the left side of the speedometer, and then we turn off the panel. After doing this, we press and hold the first button and turn the key to the first position to turn on the panel again, and finally, we wait for about ten seconds, still holding the button, until the reset is complete.
