Replacement of the traction battery of the Smart Fortwo.

Below we will see the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the traction battery of the Smart Fortwo electric version. First, we lift the car and start removing the plastic protection of the battery by unscrewing all the fixing screws. Then, we unscrew all the battery fixing bolts, using a jack to lower it from the frame, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect the electrical wiring of the battery, removing it and replacing it with the new one. We apply the reverse process for reassembly!
