How to reset the service light on the Smart ForFour?

We follow the procedure explained by the author of this video to reset the service light on a Smart Forfour, specifically the model produced between 2004 and 2006. 1) We start by turning on the instrument panel; 2) we press the reset button for the partial odometer (located above the dashboard) until the display shows the remaining kilometers until the service is due; 3) we turn off the panel; 4) we hold down the previous button and turn on the panel again; 5) we continue to hold the button down for at least 10 seconds; 6) once we see the value for the remaining kilometers change on the display, we can release the button and turn off the panel.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda

Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
