How to Reset the Service Light on the Smart Forfour

If you want to quickly and easily reset the maintenance light on your Smart Forfour, follow the instructions in this mini guide. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Next, scroll through the onboard computer menu until you find the "Messages and service" option. Hold down the "OK" button located on the left side of the steering wheel. Once the display stops flashing, release the button and turn off the ignition. The reset is complete, and you will not see the light come on at the next start.
