How do you replace the clutch of the Smart ForTwo?

In order to replace the clutch of the Smart ForTwo, it is necessary to access the engine compartment of the car, which is located immediately under the rear hatch. Here, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that secure the gearbox casing and disconnect the various connectors connected to it. Once the gearbox casing has been removed, the clutch located between it and the flywheel can be identified; the old clutch can now be removed from its housing, installing the new replacement part. After installation, it will be possible to verify that everything is functioning correctly.
