How to Set the Clock on the Smart Fortwo

To set the clock on the Smart Fortwo, start by turning on the engine. Press the button to the left of the speedometer until the clock appears with the total mileage below it. Then, hold the button down until the two dots in the centre of the clock start to flash.

When the dots are flashing, press the button again and hold it to scroll through the minutes, then adjust the hour to reach the desired time. Once the dots stop flashing, the time is set. Next, set the clock next to the rev counter: press the button to the left behind the clock to move the minute hand counterclockwise to the desired hour.

If you adjust it too far back using the left button, you can scroll clockwise. If the original radio is installed, the time will be set automatically with the speedometer clock.

However, if an aftermarket radio is installed, you will need to enter the radio settings to set the clock.
