If the multimedia system in your Smart ForTwo has suddenly stopped working, the first thing to do is check the status of the relevant fuses, whose location is indicated in this video. As shown, there are two fuses located in the box inside the cabin, specifically behind the passenger glove compartment.

They are labelled F26 and F32 and are rated at 20A and 15A respectively. If a fuse is blown, ensure you replace it with a spare of equivalent specifications and work with the vehicle off.
