Today, you will discover how to replace the battery in the key fob of a Subaru Forester. First, take your key fob and extract the physical key from inside; leverage the side slot to open the fob into two parts, accessing the circuit board and the battery, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 1632); insert it the right way round and reassemble the fob, testing its proper functionality.
