This guide will illustrate the steps needed to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob for the Subaru Forester. First, take your key fob and start by removing the physical key from inside it by sliding the small button found on the back; then, use the gap created to pry open the fob and remove the casing, thus accessing the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); finally, reassemble the key fob!
