Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the Subaru Forester key. To replace the battery, we need to unscrew the small screw on the back of the key in order to remove the top remote cover and access the battery compartment. We then proceed with the battery replacement using a standard battery model. Once we have inserted the new battery, we close the remote cover and screw the screw to lock it. We check the functionality of the key by pressing the open and close buttons. If there is a malfunction, we proceed with programming the key.
