To replace the remote battery of the Subaru Forester, move the switch located at the bottom of the device: this will allow you to slide the key out from inside the remote so that you can pry inside its housing. By prying here, you can detach the cover on the back of the device: underneath it will be the battery, which can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part.

After removal, close the remote, ensuring it functions correctly.
