How to replace the key battery of the Subaru Forester

Model: Subaru Forester SG, MK 2 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Key

Given the rather simple structure of the key of your Subaru Forester Mk2, replacing the battery is particularly simple and can be performed by anyone. You just have to put into practice what is described below. First, get yourself a small Phillips screwdriver and unscrew the two screws located on the back of the cover. Then disassemble the latter and remove the spent button battery. At this point you just have to insert the new perfectly compatible battery and, finally, correctly reassemble the cover by screwing the two screws removed previously.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
