Removing the Rear Wheel on the Suzuki GS 500

In this short video, you will see how to remove the rear wheel in simple steps on the Suzuki GS 500 motorcycle. First, position the centre stand on your bike and start by unscrewing the nut with the central spindle of the rear wheel using a socket spanner or a star spanner; then, unscrew the fixing screws of the rear brake caliper to detach it from the disc.

At this point, detach the chain from the sprocket and loosen the chain adjustment screw; all that’s left is to slide out the central spindle and remove the wheel, as illustrated in the video!
