First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin by removing the air intake hose; then disconnect the engine coolant pipe, allowing the fluid to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, undo the screws of the thermostat, remove it, and replace it with the new one; reassemble and reconnect the pipes, topping up with new coolant!
