How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Suzuki SX4

To adjust the handbrake on the Suzuki SX4, pull the handbrake and remove the console covering it by taking out the hidden clip. Also, remove the handbrake cover and with a 10 mm spanner, turn the screw anti-clockwise towards the passenger side. Allow the handbrake to click three times, then open and close it quickly until you are sure you have achieved the desired tension. Now, replace the various covers: the handbrake cover, reconnect the connector, reassemble the centre console, and your work is now complete.
