How do you replace the air filter of the Sym VF3i?

On the Sym VF3i it will be possible to replace the air filter by opening the underseat compartment, so that all the screws can be unscrewed and the battery terminals disconnected: the battery will then need to be removed from its housing, giving access to the components located in the area below.

Here it will be possible to locate the cover of the filter box, which must be detached by loosening the fixing screws: once the old filter has been removed, the new one can be inserted into its seat and the cover secured with screws.

Then the battery can be reinserted, and the compartment closed.
