The air filter replacement of the Sym VF3i can be done by opening the underseat compartment, so that it is possible to loosen the screws and disconnect the battery terminals: the battery must then be removed from its housing, giving access to the components located in the lower area. Then the battery can be reinserted, closing the compartment.
