Oil change and oil filter on Sym Jet14 200

It is recommended for this model to use 10W-40 4-stroke oil. Run the engine for a few minutes to make the oil warmer and therefore less dense. Unscrew the bolt that acts as a plug to the lower drain hole with a 17 wrench, as shown in the video. Collect used oil in a tray, and dispose of it properly. In the meantime, always unscrew the oil filter with a 17 wrench and screw on the new one. Tighten the bolt of the drain hole and load the same amount of lubricant from the upper hole, using a funnel. To open the filling hole, just unscrew the cap by hand.

Below we will illustrate the steps on how to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Keeway Cafe Racer 152. First of all we put our motorcycle on the central stand and start warming up the engine for a few minutes; then unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one; finally unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new engine oil, of the right type.
