To replace the belt on the Sym Mio, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cover of the casing near the rear wheel, beneath which the transmission is located. Once the casing is opened, you can loosen the nuts that secure the central pins of the variator and the clutch bell.

When these two pieces are removed, you can slide the belt out of its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After the replacement, all other components removed earlier can be reinstalled.
