In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the front brake pads on the SYM Bonus 110 scooter, a very simple and quick operation. First, position yourself in front of the brake in question, then loosen the two mounting bolts of the caliper to the fork using a socket spanner, and with an Allen key, loosen both bolts of the pad pins.

Once done, separate the caliper, remove the pads themselves, and clean any dirt residue. At this point, simply position the new parts and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.

Vespa Immobiliser: How to Transfer the Chip from the Old Key

In the case shown in the video, the new keys are not recognised by the ECU: the Vespa starts but does not run (thus the immobiliser is active). The solution shown in the video involves locating the immobiliser chip in the old key (the one recognised by the ECU). Open the cover on the key (only red master keys or some blue ones), remove the chip (which is a small black cylinder or rectangle), insert it into the new key in place of the new one, and try to start. Now the key will work. If the master key is red, it will definitely work. If it is blue, it might work: you need to cut the silicone; this is possible but a delicate operation. If it is a black clone key, then it is a system that does not work.
