If we want to proceed in do-it-yourself mode with the engine oil and relative filter procedure on this vehicle, we will find the indications and information on how to behave in the description below and in the video. On this model, the engine is located under the passenger side seat. Therefore to access it it is necessary to remove the seat and under it we will find the filling cap of the circuit which we will remove. Then locate the oil drain plug under the car which we are going to unscrew and the filter. Then take the appropriate wrench and proceed to unscrew the filter and replace it with the new one after having changed the gasket. Then screw the drain plug back on and finally go back to the engine compartment to fill the circuit with new oil.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
