To replace the number plate holder on the TM Racing SMR 125, loosen the screws securing the piece at the rear mudguard. These will be located both at the bottom and the top; once they are removed, you can completely take off the old number plate holder, disconnecting it from the cables as well. This will allow you to fit the new one, securing it with its screws and routing the cables through the bottom of the bumper; this way, you can connect them to the battery under the seat, so that it can be reinstalled.
