In this video, we see how to replace the serpentine belt on a Toyota Rav4 MK2: we lift the car to access the tensioner pulley using a wrench, so we can remove the worn belt by pulling it out sideways. We would have taken a photo of the belt's position beforehand to make sure we put it back in the right place; however, the video transparently provides a diagram that allows us to put everything back in the exact position. We then put the belt back in place, making sure it is not necessary to also change the tensioner bearing. We pull the tensioner pulley sideways so the belt is properly tensioned. We can lower the car back down, job done.
