Replacing the Timing Belt on the Toyota Rav4 MK1

Today we will see the necessary instructions to remove and replace the timing belt on the first series Toyota Rav4. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the battery by disconnecting the terminals; then also remove the battery tray using a 10 mm spanner. At this point, unscrew the alternator bolts to remove it as well; lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel, taking off the auxiliary belt. Next, remove the brake fluid reservoir and then the timing cover; disassemble the crankshaft pulley and replace the timing belt, following the instructions shown in the video!
