How to Remove and Replace the Timing Belt on a Toyota Yaris

Let's see how to remove and replace the timing belt on a Toyota Yaris. Open the bonnet and secure it. Remove the coolant reservoir with a socket wrench, the plastic cover on the front bumper, and disconnect the wiring harness using pliers. Lift the car with a column lift to access the underside. Remove the wheel (if necessary) and use a screwdriver to remove the side plastic undertray. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner and slide the belt off its seat. Install the new belt, tighten everything with the socket wrench. Finally, reinstall the reservoir and the plastic cover with the securing pins.
