How to Replace the Timing Chain on the Toyota Yaris

You can replace the timing chain on the Toyota Yaris by accessing the side of the engine, removing the front right wheel and the corresponding inner wheel arch cover. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the side tensioner to reduce the tension of the chain itself: you can then extract the old chain to insert the new one. The new chain can now be tensioned again by reinstalling the tensioner and checking that everything works.
