Let's see how to reset the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) light that comes on when the system detects a pressure difference or a sudden drop in one or more tyres. First, check the pressure with a reliable gauge and compare it with the pressures indicated by the manufacturer, which can be found on the driver's door pillar.

Inside the glove compartment, there is a physical button for resetting the TPMS: press it and hold it until the light on the dashboard flashes, and then turns off. You can then release the button. This operation stores the current tyre pressures as the new reference point for the system.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
