How to Change the Battery in a Toyota Corolla Cross

To replace the battery in a Toyota Corolla Cross, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay, generally on the right side. Turn off the vehicle and ensure the ignition is off. Using a spanner, first loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then do the same with the positive terminal. Remove the bracket or clamp that secures the battery to the base and lift it out carefully. Position the new battery in the same orientation, secure it with the bracket, and connect the positive terminal first and then the negative, tightening the terminals well before closing the bonnet.
