Video tutorial

To replace the engine air filter on a Toyota Camry, open the hood and locate the air filter box, situated in the engine compartment near the battery. Unclip the two metal latches at the front of the box and slightly lift the cover, sliding it forward to release the rear clips.

Remove the old filter and gently clean the inside of the box, ensuring no dirt enters the intake duct. Insert the new filter, making sure it is properly positioned and that the seal adheres all around the edge.

Reposition the cover by first inserting the rear tabs into their respective slots, then lower it and secure the two metal latches. Finally, start the engine and check for any unusual noises coming from the intake.
